Thought You Were The Skinny Girl Across the Room - No Big Deal....

These days I am finding it really difficult to stay within my Weight Watchers daily points allowance of 26 points. For some reason there are just so many things I want to eat everyday. I think my mini-trip to Toronto may have thrown me off a little bit - now all I want to do is eat. That being said - today I ate myself 29 points and instead of going to the gym, I went for a long walk on the beach right before the sun set. It was beautiful and my little peddy told me that I walked a total of 3.3 miles. So Ill take it - I did a lot last night and dont want to be the crazy gym girl (too late for that).

Today at work I had to go to this reception where the big wig was making a speech to us common folk. I went with my secretary and somehow we got seperated in the crowd during the big wig speech. When I met up with the secretary after the speech, she said was surprised because she said that she thought she saw me standing across the room. I told her that no, in fact, I was only a coule feet behind her for the whole speech. She then pointed to another girl across the room and told me that she thought that the girl on the other side of the room was me.

And guess what... the girl she thought was me was slender!

I was so flattered (a little silly I know), but I couldnt believe that I was mistaken for a skinny girl! Totally boosted my confidence and put my secretary into my good books.

Tomorrow will need to be another gym night - aiming for a 45 minute walk at lunch hour, then a 1.5 hour cardio workout at the gym. How am I ever going to reach my monthly goal of 40 cardio hours for June when we are half way through the month and Ive only got 16.5 out of 40. time to pick up the pace and get my arse in gear!

Don't forget to throw some weight training in with all that cardio work!
