Not that the weekend being here even matters - I've got so much going on that I don't have time for fun :( This weekend will be full of homework and errands. Nothing more, nothing less.
On the upside - I more or less was able to stay within my daily points allowance this week (Weight Watchers) and have a total of 13.5 points available to use up this weekend. I've got to keep with this food patrol business though - if I am not focused, big portions of anything will end up on my plate. This is an eternal struggle for me! I'm learning though, practice makes perfect right.
Talking about food, I've been aiming to eat to satisfy my daily nutritional requirements as opposed to eating for deliciousness. Reviewing my food history made me realize that I eat WAY too much cheese - so have really cut that out this week (even though I love it). I do feel better physically when I don't consume large portions of it - I've run into this before and fear that I may be allergic to cheese. We'll see what Mr. Scale says about all this no-cheese business. I expect he'll like it.
Like today, for example, I had a rice-less stir fry with ground chicken and it was delicious!

Hope you all have a much more fun weekend planned than me!
I'm planning on being done work (substitute teacher here)this week...so this weekend is bliss.
ReplyDeleteI read your blog when you first started and then have been MIA on the WW boards/blogs till now. It was amazing reading through your last few months!!
You are a strong, amazing woman, I tell ya!!!
Your blog makes me feel more motivated to kick things up and start making some real goals, instead of vague ones!!
Weigh loss Gods bless you:)
Oh I hear you on the cheese lol. I've realized the best way for me to go is to strictly monitor when I can have it. if not, I would probably spend most of my day's points just on cheese lol.
ReplyDeleteI think it's awesome that you're thinking in terms of nutrition and what your body needs as opposed to taste alone. That's a huge step!
Have a great weekend :)
