The Previously-Dreaded "Fitted T-Shirt"

This morning, I spent a good 10 minutes browsing through my closet, trying to find an outfit (a summer outfit) that still fits. My closet contains an array of sizes, some are now too big for me and others don't fit quite yet.

I finally located a top that would be suitable for the outrageous weather we've been getting (hot, hot, hot) but it was... dum, dum, dum... a fitted shirt - meaning it clung to my mid section - the one part of my body that has the most fat on it. In fact, I think the remaining 50 lbs I want to lose will come solely from my mid-section as there is not nearly as much fat on any other part of my body.

Unfortunately, the fitted shirt paired with my "they almost fit me" size 12 dress pants gave me a horrible muffin-top - so in a hurry I threw on the "too-big-for-me" size 14 dress pants.

The outfit ended up working for me:

The best part is that the shirt doesn't cling to me - it actually fits me properly! Such a success and really nice considering how hot it is today.

Speaking of hot days, I think drinking copious amounts of water is key to me staying healthy (and hydrated) in the heat:

How do you beat the heat? What you makes you able to bear this hellish hot weather?
