September, Day 2

Day two, and so far so good.

My eating could be better - but I did get out for a half hour walk tonight and a yoga class,

The next few days will be tough as I am headed out of town to visit the family. I heard through the grapevine that my dad is wanting to lose some weight. It would be great if I could kick his arse.

I spoke with my mom on the phone tonight, and she was telling me how excited she is to see me. I explained to her that I hadn't, in fact, lost any weight for a whole month (so don't get your hopes up ma).

I saw her two weeks ago.

She told me, "Lisa - you may not have lost any weight, but the last time I say you your body looked completely different"

This is when I realized that I should have been taking measurements all along... but alas, I have not. It would make sense though, what with my increase in yoga activity (strength training).

I am moving now into a new phase of weight loss: toning my body. It's going to take me a while to get used to this...
