Seriously - shut the front door.
I was worried about this weeks weigh-in because of the generious points week I had, and the last time I weighed myself, I was at 213 (Friday).
Tonight, on my official weigh-in day I weigh 209!!!!!I literally worked out tonight with a big smile on my face the entire time I was so pleased with myself.
I have a feeling that, because I didn't eat many heavy foods today and especially for dinner (i.e. Chili) - but instead snacked the day away, my current weight was affected by foods I consumed today. The true test to this will be what I weigh tomorrow - if I'll still be at 209 or a little higher.
Last Sunday, I said I would be at 209 by today and I DID IT! I am on top of the world right now and am so proud that I met my weekly goal! This means that I've lost a total of 24 pounds since I started on March 1st and I lost 5 pounds this week! It also means that I have officially lost 10% of myself.
I have to admit that I am totally feeling better now that I am "fit" - I breathe better, and feel "healthy". I think I might have a shot at being successful in that 5K in June. I am actually looking forward to it - but still have a long way to go as I can only run for one minute straight - yikes! I will get there though.
24 pounds down - 79 to go!
