An Ode to the Elliptical

Oh dear elliptical
How I adore you
You tone my butt and thighs
And upper body too.

When my eyes scan the sea
of machines in the gym
You're the only one I see
As the rest of the room fades to dim.

Your low impact nature
So easy on my knees
Unlike the treadmill
Where my calves tense up and sieze.

My limbs fly with ease
I'm on a roll
My heart pounds
60 minutes, I reach my goal.

  1. Hahaha I could have written this myself :) It's like there are no other machines besides the ellipticals...

  2. I know right? I was able to do 70 minutes last night on the elliptical and could still walk when I got off it. Amazing! Simply amazing!
